SWM Gamers is admittedly a large site with a number of sub forums. Generally checking each one for updates is a time-consuming process if I'm just browsing for current conversations.

I've seen this feature on sites before: a search option or quick link in the forum breadcrumbs that displays only threads that have been updated within the last day or 2 days. It's a very useful feature and I suspect it wouldn't be too difficult to incorporate into the existing search options for the site.

The "View New Posts" button, near the top-right of the page, does pretty much exactly what you're talking about. Once I started using it, browsing these forums and keeping up-to-date on the various discussions became MUCH easier.

see... I was so surprised it didn't exist. Talk about buried in plain sight.

Oh believe me, I didn't know about it for like the first two years and I was one of the first people on here lol. I think Eric had to point it out to me one time, and I've never stopped browsing gamers that way since.
