Avatarian Lightsabers

Mods all have lightsabers in their avatar area, to get a not so cool looking one I could make 1500 posts or so.... I think it would be cool to allow all users to either
A.) Hide the growing lightsaber
or
B.) Choose a lightsaber under the profile options.

It's a sort of prize for hanging around and being friendly with the SWMG community. You'll get there....

Like punxnbutter said, having a complete lightsaber is for having a high post count and participating in threads a lot.

even so it looks like you need about 1500 in order to achieve that. No one on these boards has achieved that. Several very active mods have less than 700 posts. It just seems like a little bit of overkill.

I highly doubt I'll ever get a fully lit lightsaber. That is, unless the very unlikely event that I become a mod comes to pass. I don't really think it's a big deal. I just come here to enjoy good SWM talk and chime in once in a while

Most people don't have really high post counts yet cause the site isn't that old, its only been around for about half a year. I'm happy if you need 1500 posts to get a lightsaber, I take it as a challenge or something to work up to.

Mine is so high because I'm here a lot and my interests are varied enough that I find a lot of posts that are interesting enough to bother responding to.

Heh...except 95% of the posts in the Archives are all Fool's to start with. I just edit them, so it makes no difference on my post count.

Like Homer, I'm interested in a lot of different things, and try to be very involved in all sorts of stuff here. I do have probably 4 or 5 posts per day in the GVL sections though as well, because of keeping up with the stats and such.

I try to keep the really pointless ones to a minimum. I'm used to a board that has a forum specifically for spamming to raise your post count so sometimes I have to remind myself not to do that here.
