I'm having some trouble posting to the new boards using Internet Explorer 6.0.2900 since the update. I'm using Firefox and able to post, so I'm not certain on the trouble.

The error I get is "The submitted form was invalid. Try submitting again" I tried to change the "board preference" and that did not help (Could not do it in I.E, changed from Jedi to Old Order but no effect).

Just an FYI: in the meantime I'll just use firefox.

Hey, just having some issues using Firefox, tried to post a couple times in the GVL forum, no dice, kept getting the submitted form invalid error, as well I can't seem to log out...

Using Firefox 2.0, I cannot enter replies to threads. I too was getting the same error message as Solodan. I tried clearing my cache and that did not seem to help. Also when I tried to logout and login again, I got the error message "You were not logged out, as the request did not match your session. Please contact the board administrator if you continue to experience problems."

I was able to post this message using the IE simulator add-on in Firefox, but the plain browser won't let me reply. Oh the irony of not being able to post about not being able to post. lol

After clearing the cache, and then closing Firefox and re-opening it (completely closing it, not just closing the tab for swmgamers.com) then I got it to work. I've had a few problems here and there still, but they seem to be intermittent, and I haven't nailed down a specific cause for those.

I did everything Lobostele did and still had trouble so then I went to the main site page, cleaned the cache again and then clicked the forum link. It works now, but what I found was the address name had changed so I deleted the link from my favorites list. Voila!

OK, I cleared my cache multiple times today (including while on the home page), closed Firefox completely, and re-booted the computer. When I clicked on logout, I got the same error message as before.

Had to use the Firefox IE add-on again to get this post to go through. It's no big deal for me to do that for posting, but just making you aware of the conflict issue.

Ahh Boris, you reminded me! I had to enter the forums through the homepage as well, I had forgot about that step. I clicked the 'forums' link on the swmgamers.com page, and then it asked me to log-in. After I did that, it seems to be working correctly now.

I think I'm still having a few issues with it working when I just click a link from an email notification though. When I click one of those links, and then try to respond, it still gives me the error. If I click back over to a previous tab (in the same Firefox window) that still has the forums open, I can find the selected thread and post in it that way. It's quite strange.

Yeah, sorry for all the hassles guys.

I'm Trying to nail down these bugs. It's obvious it's cuz of the new website, but just like when we upgraded to version 3 of the forums, we'll get it worked up, just takes time and patience.
