im still stuck between 2 ideas. here they are:

the basic plan is to kick back and pummel anyone who comes near me. this is the most shooty squad you can go with. my biggest fears are luke/yoda and JWMs.

give the FP to either of the 2 pushers. there is potential for 4+ pushes in the early rounds. my biggest fears would be team 1 and a mirror match.



if you were going to this tourney, what would you bring? do you have any input to make my teams better?

Well, those are both typically VERY low on activations for 150 point games. However, that's dependent on your local scene, so if the other guys you play with typically also have only 4 or 5 big point characters, then no sweat.

Either squad is decent, and the map choice is good. Make sure you're prepared to lose your choice of side though. Losing side with the Landspeeder/Han combo wouldn't be too bad, but it would really hurt you with the Luke HPU/VAR squad. Also, with squad builds like these, don't be afraid to choose your opponent's map. If your opponent is running a heavy mobile/shooter squad (something like your Han/Landspeeder one) and have a different map than Mustafar, it might be better to choose his map if you have the chance, just to make sure you don't end up getting screwed and stuck on the bad side of Mustafar.

i said the title all wrong. you are only allowed to have force users in your squad. nobody is going to have more than 4-5 activations, so i should be all set there.

Two words:
Darth Bane

If you have him you must use him or you will lose, no doubt. His base attack score is +20 against any mini your opponent has. Team him up with Aurra and a crapload of HFAs and you have a pretty good squad.

The two squads you posted look good, the first being better, but more reliant on initiative than the second. Aurra Sing was a good call, since all of you opponents minis are Force users she attacks at at least +15 if not more.

I would have fun with a swarm army:

How often do you get to just run Jedi across the field? It may lose to the shooters, but it would be fun to fry enemies with the Witches or get off really crappy sweeps for hopes of better sweeps from Fisto's CE.

Oh, snap, yeah, with the restriction being that your team must consist of Force Users, I would definitely go with Bane, Aurra and two HFAs. Of course, Vader JH and Sith Witches probably wouldn't be bad either.
