Not that I want to derail the positivitiness (word? probably not) about this project but I have a couple of questions:
If something happens that cards cannot be printed (problem with copyright, printhouse, etc.), will the cash be returned?
Will those who contribute get a pdf of the cards as well so that, if damage to the card occurs by the user during their use, they could print another one?

If this isn't the forum for that, I was just checking.

I'd love to get some new cards! This is awesome. What a great idea.

But I have questions:

-What stock are the cards printed on?
-Are they formatted like the latest WOTC cards? 2 sided, with art on back?
-Are they full color?
-How many cards do I get? 1 for each unique, multiples for the common and uncommons?

Along with not knowing who will be in the set, there are still just too many questions for me to plunk down cash. I look forward to getting more details.

Well Batmite that is certainly your option as a consumer.

Most of your questions have been answered in various threads throughout the community. So if you asking us to get you up to speed I would direct you to take a look around and read some threads. Take a look at some of the previews.

Again it is certainly your right as a consumer to not plunk down cash. We are not really trying to appear as though we are begging for cash. Most everyone donating has a pretty clear picture of what they are supporting and purchasing.

Thanks D1, was looking to find out more before making the purchase. More detailed info at Kickstarter as this might be a good selling point for people that don't know much about it or if there is going to be some cross-marketing at other web sources.

That was what I was getting at too, just wanted some more product details before making a purchase. Any chance someone could summarize some of this stuff here or at Kickstarter so we know these details and not have to trudge through looking for all that?

As a consumer, I can get these details before making a purchase. I was thinking there might be a boarder appeal and larger support if some summarized details were provided to those that might be coming into this late.

I know I'm following the thread that has the previewed figures revealed thus far, just so I know more.

To answer the questions asked earlier, I think the way Kickstarter works is that you choose to donate, and then if the goal is met, your payment will be processed.

So (example) ive already chosen to pay by credit card, but my card wont be charged at all until the end date, and ONLY if the goal amount is met before then. Also, it says the goal is $1800, irrc, but that doesnt mean that once it hits that mark that it stops. The donations can keep being sent in until the end date.
