General Dodonna
(Legacy of the Force)

Commander Effect
You can choose to activate only 1 character in each phase. (This includes Droid and Savage characters).

Analysis
  • You can choose to activate either one or two characters in a phase

User Comments
(Ruhk): It has been previously ruled by Nickname that the correct method of using General Dodonna's CE is to have to declare at the beginning of the phase how many activations you are going to use. The default is 1, so some players only declare when they are going to use 2 activations.

Moff Morlish Veed
(Legacy of the Force)

Commander Effect
If this character has line of sight to an enemy at the start of a phase, you can choose to activate only 1 character in the phase. (This includes Droid and Savage characters.)

Analysis
  • Veed must have line of sight to any enemy
  • This enemy does not need to be a legal target
  • When the line of sight is established, the activating player decides if he/she wants to activate 1 or 2 characters during the phase.

User Comments
(Ruhk): Veed is like a crappier version of General Veers. Admiral Ozzel works better if you only want to activate one at a time, and Tarkin works better to activate up to 3 in a specific situation. Veed is widely considered to be a poorly designed piece, and lacks playability.

Moff Nyna Calixte
(Legacy of the Force)

Commander Effect
Characters in your squad (including this character) get +10 Damage against enemies with Stealth.
Characters in your squad with Stealth (including this character) and who have cover cannot be targeted by nonadjacent enemies.

Analysis
  • A two part CE
  • The damage bonus applies to all characters in your squad when targeting enemies with Stealth
  • It is a stats boost, so it won't stack with another CE like the Stormtrooper Commander's.
  • All characters in your squad with Stealth and who are in cover can only be targeted by adjacent enemies. Even if the enemy has Accurate Shot

Republic Commando Training Seargeant
(Legacy of the Force)

Commander Effect
Whenever one or more allies with Order 66 combines fire with another character with Order 66, the attacker gets +10 Damage.
Allies with Order 66 and Grenades 10 instead gain Grenades 30.

Analysis
  • Unlimited Range and a two part CE
  • First part applies when two characters with Order 66 combine fire. The attacker gets a +10 damage bonus.
  • It is a stat boost, so it won't stack with another CE like Clone Commander Bacara's.
  • Second part applies to characters with both Order 66 and Grenades 10
  • Qualifying allies gain the special ability Grenades 30 instead of Grenades 10.
  • A character can benefit from both CEs
